employee report

A simplified version of the statutory annual report and accounts of a company prepared for the employees of the company (see annual accounts). Although this is a voluntary practice, such documents should comply with section 240 of the Companies Act relating to non-statutory accounts. Employee reports were particularly popular in the 1930s and the 1970s.
